Our commitment
We collect the minimum we need, are clear about how we use it, and never sell your data or your clients' operational data. The data you trust us with is handled with the same discipline we bring to production systems.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and operate this website. That falls into two categories:
- Information you give us: when you submit our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, company, and whatever you choose to include in your message.
- Information collected automatically: basic, aggregated usage and performance data (such as page views and load times) gathered through privacy-conscious analytics to help us improve the site.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Reply to your enquiry and arrange discovery calls.
- Understand which content is useful and keep the site fast and reliable.
- Meet our legal, accounting, and security obligations.
Client and operational data
During an engagement, Aethrix may process data from your business systems: ERP, commerce, warehouse, and finance platforms. We act as a processor on your behalf: that data remains yours.
We access only what a project requires, keep each client's data segregated, and never sell it or use it to train models or build products without your explicit, written agreement. Specific handling, retention, and security terms are set out in the contract or data processing addendum for each engagement.
Third-party services
We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run this site, and each only receives the data needed for its function: Vercel for website hosting and analytics, Tally for contact form submissions, and Google Calendar for scheduling discovery calls.
Cookies and analytics
We keep tracking to a minimum. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our analytics are aggregated and used only to understand site usage and performance, not to profile individuals.
Data security
We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls limited to people who need it, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat the data you share with the same care we apply to our clients' operational systems.
Data retention
We keep contact and enquiry information only as long as needed to follow up and meet our legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it. Client data handled during engagements is retained according to the relevant contract and removed on request when the engagement ends.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email us and we will respond promptly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR or the CCPA, and we honour those requests.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices evolve. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated clearly.
